Weekly Update — Group Chat on Android, Local Payments & Fixes

We’ve got a few updates to share this week, including one many of you have been waiting for.

Group Chat is now available on Android

Group Chat is now live in the Android app, so you can create and join multi-character conversations directly from mobile. Please update to the latest version to access it.

More local payment options for China, Pakistan, Bangladesh, India, Vietnam, and Argentina.

(Please note that these are only one-time payment options, so you'll have buy a new subscription each month)

Fixes & improvements

We also fixed several issues this week:

* Fixed an issue where Text To Speech (TTS) could not be played for the greeting message until after sending the first chat message. TTS should now be available on the greeting as soon as you open the chat page.

* Fixed an issue where, after an image generation request was blocked by moderation, previous conversation messages and generated images could temporarily disappear.

* Fixed an issue where Blocked Creators were not loading properly on web/app.

* Improved TTS word recognition to reduce cases where the voice could stutter or sound inconsistent.

* Fixed an issue where tags could disappear from chatbot profile pages, and the Suggest Tag option was not showing properly.

That’s it for this week.

As always, thank you for the feedback and reports — they help us find and fix these issues faster. 💜

🎭 You Can Now Include Your Persona in Image Generations

𝐇𝐞𝐲 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲𝐨𝐧𝐞,

Something has always been missing from your images: 𝐲𝐨𝐮.

Up until now, your generated images in conversation could capture the story, the mood, and the character — but not your own place in the scene.

Today, that changes.

We’re excited to introduce 𝐈𝐧𝐜𝐥𝐮𝐝𝐞 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐏𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐧𝐚 𝐢𝐧 𝐈𝐦𝐚𝐠𝐞. (web only)

This new feature lets your 𝐏𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐧𝐚 appear directly in generated images in conversation, so instead of just watching the story unfold, you can step into it yourself — right beside your character, in the moment, as part of the scene.

It’s a small change that makes a big difference. Once you see yourself in the image, it’s hard to go back.

𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐭𝐨 𝐮𝐬𝐞 𝐢𝐭

Turning it on is simple:

• Open 𝐈𝐦𝐚𝐠𝐞 𝐒𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬
• Select 𝐐𝐰𝐞𝐧 𝐈𝐦𝐚𝐠𝐞 (𝐓𝐫𝐮𝐞 𝐒𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐞𝐫 & 𝐈’𝐦 𝐀𝐥𝐥 𝐈𝐧 𝐨𝐧𝐥𝐲)
• Enable 𝐈𝐧𝐜𝐥𝐮𝐝𝐞 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐏𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐧𝐚 𝐢𝐧 𝐈𝐦𝐚𝐠𝐞

Please note: this works with Qwen Image only.

𝐀 𝐭𝐢𝐩 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐛𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐬

Your Persona avatar and Persona highlights are both used to generate the image, so they should match each other as closely as possible.

For example, if your highlights describe a 25-year-old man, but your avatar shows something very different, the model may get mixed signals and the results may be less accurate.

Keeping them aligned will help your Persona appear the way you intend.

𝐀 𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐩𝐥𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐧𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐬

• This feature is currently available on web only
• Mobile app support is coming soon
• It works well in most cases, though in more explicit scenes the results may still be inconsistent at times
• We’ll continue improving it over time

This is one of those features that’s best experienced for yourself.

Go ahead — step into the story. 💜

📊 Weekly Update — Creator Analytics, Group Attribution & Fixes

Hey everyone 👋

We've got a few updates this week, including one we're especially excited to release for creators.

📈 𝐂𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐫 𝐀𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐲𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐬 𝐢𝐬 𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞

We're excited to introduce Creator Analytics. Creators can now access a new 𝐂𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐫 𝐀𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐲𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐬 dashboard to better understand how their characters are performing over time.

The dashboard gives you visibility into things like number of messages generated, engagement, ratings, and other performance signals that can help you understand what's working and where users are spending time.

You can also adjust the time range and view analytics for individual characters, making it easier to track performance across your creations.

A few things to note:

- Analytics are not real-time and update once every 24 hours.

- Analytics are private and only visible to the creator.

You can access analytics by visiting My Chatbots and clicking on Creator Analytics.

Read more about Creator Analytics here

👥 𝐂𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐫 𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐛𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐢𝐧 𝐆𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐩 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐭𝐬

We've also added creator attribution in Group Chats.

On the Group Chat profile, the original creator's username will now appear under each chatbot name, making it clearer who created each character.

🔧 𝐅𝐢𝐱𝐞𝐬 & 𝐈𝐦𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬

- The 𝐀𝐥𝐥𝐨𝐰 𝐢𝐧 𝐆𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐩𝐬 setting now only appears for 𝐏𝐮𝐛𝐥𝐢𝐜 chatbots, since it doesn't apply to Private or Unlisted bots.

- Fixed an issue where 𝐋𝐨𝐫𝐞𝐛𝐨𝐨𝐤 𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐛𝐨𝐭𝐬 were not loading properly.

In the next couple of weeks, we'll also improve Public Edit Moderation and prevent putting bots into review for changes like group settings, tags, etc.

That's it for this week. As always, thank you for the feedback 💜

🚀 Introducing GLAM-5.1 — our most immersive model yet

We're excited to officially introduce 𝐆𝐋𝐀𝐌 𝟓.𝟏, one of the most advanced and immersive roleplay models we've released on SpicyChat so far.

Based on feedback from our beta testers, here’s where GLAM 5.1 really stands out:

🎭 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐟𝐞𝐞𝐥 𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐯𝐞. Stronger personality consistency. More believable behavior. They stay in character — even deep into long sessions.

✍️ 𝐖𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐟𝐞𝐞𝐥𝐬 𝐡𝐮𝐦𝐚𝐧. Natural phrasing, real nuance, far less of that telltale AI cadence.

🎬 𝐒𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐦𝐨𝐯𝐞 𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐢𝐫 𝐨𝐰𝐧. Better scene progression, stronger initiative, fewer "now what?" moments where you're carrying the whole RP.

🎨 𝐆𝐞𝐧𝐮𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐭𝐲. Fresh dialogue, surprising turns, noticeably less repetition.

👥 𝐌𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐢-𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐬𝐜𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐝 𝐮𝐩. Distinct voices, clear dynamics, less confusion between characters.

One tester put it simply: 𝘐𝘵 𝘣𝘦𝘤𝘢𝘮𝘦 𝘮𝘺 𝘧𝘢𝘷𝘰𝘳𝘪𝘵𝘦 𝘮𝘰𝘥𝘦𝘭 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯 𝘢 𝘥𝘢𝘺.

𝐖𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐟𝐢𝐧𝐝 𝐢𝐭

GLAM 5.1 is now available exclusively for I’m All In users.
If you’ve been waiting to experience the next level of roleplay on SpicyChat, now’s the perfect time to upgrade.

Get GLAM 5.1

𝐀𝐥𝐬𝐨 𝐧𝐞𝐰 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐰𝐞𝐞𝐤

🔄 𝐒𝐤𝐲𝐥𝐞𝐞 𝐏𝐫𝐨 → 𝐒𝐤𝐲𝐥𝐞𝐞 𝐒𝐞𝐞𝐝

We've replaced Skylee Pro with Skylee Seed, a newer and improved version of the model with overall better quality and performance.

⏳ 𝐔𝐩𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐌𝐨𝐝𝐞𝐥 𝐒𝐮𝐧𝐬𝐞𝐭

We'll also be sunsetting 𝐌𝐚𝐠𝐧𝐮𝐦 𝟕𝟐𝐁 𝐢𝐧 𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐱𝐢𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐥𝐲 𝐭𝐰𝐨 𝐰𝐞𝐞𝐤𝐬. We know some of you still enjoy the model, so we wanted to give everyone advance notice before it's retired.

And finally… to everyone who managed to discover GLAM 5.1 yesterday before the official announcement 👀

Good job. You found the easter egg early.

As always, we'd love to hear your feedback once you've spent some time with the model. 💜

New Improvements for Creators, Group Chats & Lorebooks

We've rolled out several improvements aimed at making the creator experience on SpicyChat smoother, more stable, and more predictable. Here's a clear walkthrough of what's new.

Human Review for Edits to Published Chatbots

Until now, edits made to already-published public chatbots were evaluated primarily through automated moderation. This worked well in most cases, but certain edits could occasionally require a closer look after publishing.

Going forward, edits submitted to already-published public chatbots will also be reviewed by our human moderation team, in addition to automated systems. This adds a second layer of care to the process and helps catch nuances that automated review alone may not.

While your edit is being reviewed, the currently approved version of your chatbot remains live and fully accessible. Your users can continue chatting with it without interruption, and you don't have to worry about downtime while waiting for the new version to be approved.

In short: stronger review, zero disruption.

Group Chat Controls

You now have direct control over whether your chatbot can be added to public group chats created by other users.

This option is available under Advanced Settings in the chatbot editor.

Please note: This setting applies only to future group additions. Chatbots that were already added to group chats before you toggle this setting will remain in those chats and won't be affected.

Lorebook Imports

You can now bring your existing lorebooks from other platforms directly into SpicyChat — no need to recreate them from scratch.

How to use it:

  1. Go to the Lorebook creation page
  2. Click Import
  3. Upload your file and start using it right away

Bug Fixes & Improvements

  • Fixed an issue where Lorebook entries attached to private bots were not functioning correctly
  • Fixed an error that could appear when starting a Group Chat without selecting who sends the first message
  • Added clearer limits and error messaging for Custom Voices, so it's easier to understand when a limit has been reached

One More Thing

Something significant also shipped today. We'll be sharing the full details tomorrow — see if you can spot it in the meantime.

Thank you, as always, for the feedback that continues to shape SpicyChat. We're excited to keep building alongside you.

🎙️ Text-to-Speech V3 is Here — Create Your Own Voices

We’re excited to roll out the next phase of our Text-to-Speech experience — and this one’s a big step forward.

You can now create your own custom voices and even assign them to your characters.

✨ What’s New

  • Create Custom Voices
Upload your own voice samples and generate a unique voice that you can use across your chats.
  • Assign Voices to Your Characters
Set a voice (custom or predefined) for your chatbot — so anyone chatting with your bot will hear that assigned voice.

This opens up a whole new level of immersion and personalization for your characters.

🛠️ How to Use

  1. Go to Create → Voices
  2. Add name and description
  3. Upload your audio samples (MP3, under 30 seconds each)

    • You can upload multiple samples for better results
  4. Wait a few minutes for processing
  5. Go to My Creations and find your voice
  6. Once it shows “Ready for Preview”, listen and finalize the voice
  7. After finalizing, you can start using it in chats or assign it to your chatbot

⚠️ Important:
Voices must be finalized before they can be used.

📌 Availability

This feature is currently available for I’m All In users.

We’re really excited to see what you create with this — custom voices can completely change how your characters feel and interact.

As always, we’d love to hear your feedback 💜
