🌐 Translated Content Now Available on Homepage & Search!

Today, we’re excited to roll out another big update for our multilingual users—translated content is now live on the homepage and search results. Chatbots that have been translated will now appear in your preferred chatting language across both homepage and search.

To try it out:

- Head over to your Profile Settings

- Set your Preferred Chatting Language

- Return to the homepage and you’ll see translated bots in that language (if available)

This feature is currently available on web only.

🎭 Character Limit Increase For Persona

We have increased the character limit for persona to 1000 characters.

🧩 Website UI & Experience Fixes

✅ Square Avatars Are Back

 Just like the Native, we’ve brought back square profile images in chat for better character visibility—just as you requested!

✅ Image Generation Stability

 Fixed an issue where images in conversation would fail on the resubmit.

✅ “Back” Navigation Now Remembers Sort Settings

 On the My Chatbots page, your sorting selection will now be preserved when navigating back.

✅ Greeting/Personality Field Display Fix

 On the chatbot profile page, we’ve cleaned up the “Show More/Less” toggle, so it only appears when there’s actually more to show.

✅ Tags Suggestion Fixed

 Suggest tag on public chatbots feature is now fixed and working as expected.

✅ Tag suggestion Modal Display

 On mobile web, tag suggestion modal now appear fully on screen—no more cut-off content.

✅ Message Edit Button Visibility

 Fixed a UI issue where the Save button was hard to see when editing messages.

✅ Tag Search Field Visibility (Light Mode)

 Typed text in the tag search bar is now clearly visible in light theme.

You can once again long-press a chat bubble to copy or edit your messages—just like you asked.

✅ Smarter Input Box

We've fixed the input height so long messages won’t take over your screen and you can still view the previous messages.

✅ Square Avatars Return

Character images are back to their clean, square shape for better visibility and consistency.

✅ One-Click Edits

No more clicking twice to save an edit—just tap once and you’re done!

📲 Make sure to update your app manually to see these changes in action. Otherwise it'll auto update in the next 24 to 72 hours.

While not a new model, WizardLM2 8x22B is now more accessible! Known for its thoughtful, coherent writing and strong character consistency, it shines in story-rich SFW roleplay. 

While these additions are exciting and offer more variety, they don't rival with our premium tier models SpicyXL, Qwen3-235B or Deepseek. For the ultimate roleplay experience, upgrade to our highest tier.

You now have finer control over image generation in conversations!

Prompt Suffix: Add a suffix that will automatically apply to every image prompt—perfect for locking in a consistent style or vibe.

Negative Prompt: Want to avoid certain things in your images? Add a negative prompt to help guide the model away from unwanted elements.

These options give you more creative control to generate images closer to your vision.

🏷️ Smart Tag Suggestions Are Live

We’ve added AI-powered tag suggestions on the character creation page. No need to scroll endlessly—our system will automatically recommend the most relevant tags for your character, making creation faster and content more discoverable.

We're excited to announce another new feature to help our creators. With the Character Creation Wizard, you can auto-generate all character creation fields just by entering a name and title. Then, generate fields like persona, greeting, and more with a single click. This is built to help you bring amazing bots to life faster and easier!

📱 Native App Updates

Over the past week, we’ve gradually rolled out a performance-focused update to our native apps. Along with backend improvements, we’ve addressed several issues:

✅ Fixed: App sometimes freezing when starting new chats

✅ Fixed: White screen issue when tapping the Chat Menu icon

✅ Fixed: NSFW bots not being blurred properly on Android

✅ Fixed: Chatbot greeting and personality fields not properly expandable to view the whole text

✅ Fixed: "Search result count" not updating properly

✅ Fixed: Back button not working as expected on the Draft page

✅ Fixed: Sorting dropdown menu changing positions on homepage

🔁 These improvements are part of our broader goal to deliver a stable, responsive, and polished mobile performance.

Like its sibling V3, this model runs on a massive 671B parameter architecture, but offers a distinct flavor of storytelling: more grounded, more thoughtful, and with a deeper focus on character and narrative immersion.

Beta testers have already spent time with R1, and the feedback speaks for itself—here’s what they’ve been saying:

We’re excited to roll out a new BETA feature available on the website only (for now)! 

You can now set your Preferred Chat Language from your Profile Page. 

Currently, supported languages includes: Arabic, Chinese, German, Spanish, French, Hindi, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Polish, Portuguese, Russian and Turkish. 

Once you've set a language other than English, our AI will be more inclined to answer in that language (this is not guaranteed). 
For the best experience, we recommend using advanced AI models like Deepseek, Qwen3, or SpicyXL. 

For premium subscribers: 

• A “Translate to [Your Language]” button will appear on chatbot profile pages and when starting a new conversation.,
• Chatbot titles and greetings will automatically appear in your selected language (if a translation is available).,
• Our AI will use the translated chatbot definition and respond in your chosen language.,
• Translating a chatbot takes around 40 seconds, but it only needs to be done once.,
• Important: This feature does not affect existing conversations — it applies only to new ones.,

All public chatbots translated by subscribers will be available to free users. We'll add more features to find translated content in the future.

Currently, this feature is website-only but will be coming to our native apps in the coming weeks.

We’ve pushed out a few tweaks and fixes to improve your overall experience on both web and mobile:

✅ Text Highlight Color Restored

Selected text was showing up as pink in both light and dark mode — it’s now been restored to a more readable and theme-appropriate color.

✅ Mobile Input Box Fix

On some mobile devices, the chat input box was being partially blocked by the bottom home bar. This is now fixed — typing should feel a lot smoother!

✅ NSFW Toggle Flicker Removed

We’ve fixed a flickering issue when enabling the NSFW toggle on the Profile Settings page.

✅ Android Blur NSFW Issue Fixed

The Blur NSFW content option should now work as expected in the android app. (This fix was deployed yesterday)
