 🛠️ Bug Fixes (Web)

* Fixed an issue where editing a bot in draft status would give an error.

* Cloning a message now properly redirects you to the cloned chat.

* The Title field on Chatbot/Persona creation now expands correctly for long titles.

* Saved Chats now load properly, even for users with a very large number of conversations.

📱 Android App Updates

* Our refreshed SpicyChat logo is now live in the app.

* The “Less Like This” option has been added, letting you hide bots you’re not interested in and improving future recommendations.

* Reporting bots has been fixed — you can now flag content that violates our guidelines without issues.

“Less Like This” Recommendations: By popular demand, you can now hide bots from your recommendations! Just hit Less Like This option in the bot card menu, and not only will that bot disappear from your feed, but your future recommendations will also get influenced by this and you'll see less bots like that.

🍏 iOS App Update

Our appeal with Apple is still under review — no news yet. As mentioned previously, you can continue to use the app if you already have it installed, but iOS subscriptions will not renew. For new subscriptions, please use the website. We’ll keep you updated as soon as we hear back from Apple.

✨ GLAM 4.5 – Improved Model Performance

Some of you noticed issues with our newly released model GLAM, and we listened. We went back, tuned things up, and GLAM should now perform much better. Please keep rating your messages when possible — those ratings help us track how models are doing and make improvements faster.

📱 Android App – Update v1.0.77

The latest Android app (v1.0.77) is now live with performance upgrades and important bug fixes:

• Cloning messages issue fixed – You can now properly select messages when cloning conversations.
• Editing bug fixed – The text box expanding off-screen while editing messages has been resolved.
• False message limit error – Some users were incorrectly hitting a “message limit” warning. That’s now fixed.

🌐 Website Updates

• Tag filters behaving oddly – Previously, tag filters would come back after refreshing a page even if you’d cleared them. They now reset properly.
• Blocked bots showing up – Bots from blocked users were still appearing in recommendations. That’s fixed — if you block, they’re gone for good.

📱  iOS Subscriptions

We’ve heard from some of you about issues managing subscriptions through iOS. Just to clarify:

- iOS subscriptions can’t be managed through the website.

- To view or cancel your subscription, go to Device Settings → Profile → Subscriptions → SpicyChat on your device.

- iOS subscriptions won’t auto-renew, you’ll need to purchase a new one on the SpicyChat website when it expires.

We support credit/debit cards and a variety of local payment options in many regions worldwide. If you run into any trouble, our support team is here to help.

🌐 Web Fixes

- Transparent PNG files sometimes showed a purple background on chatbot avatars. They’ll now display properly as transparent.

- In some cases, removing all messages in a chat caused the “Generate Image” option to stop working. That’s fixed.

🤖 Android Fixes

- The keyboard would sometimes cover the chat window. This no longer happens.

- Editing a message could make the chatbox expand off-screen. This has been fFixed.

- Updated the Generation Settings modal to match the web layout. You’ll now see the model you’ve selected, and switching personas won’t reset your model choice.

 Please update to the latest version (1.0.76) to see these changes. 

While this week’s release didn’t contain much on the surface, the team has been cooking up some really exciting features behind the scenes — things many of you have been asking for.

Earlier today, the SpicyChat iOS app was removed from the App Store. Apple has determined our app currently doesn’t comply with their guidelines. While we’ve always worked hard to comply, it seems it wasn’t enough this time. While we’ve appealed, the chances of the app returning are slim. You can continue chatting without interruption on the web - and in many ways, it’s the best place to chat.

Here’s what this means for iOS users:

✅ If You Already Have the App

• You can continue using it as normal. If you uninstall it, you can re-install it via App Store → Profile → Apps.
• Existing subscriptions will stay active until they expire, but won’t auto-renew on iOS. 
• To avoid interruptions (and get the best, most up-to-date experience), move your subscription to the web.
  
  

🌐 Why Mobile Web Is Better

• 🚀 Faster Rollouts: Features and improvements are released on the web first — no App Store review delays.
• ⚡ Quick Fixes: Bugs and issues can be resolved faster as we can deploy fixes instantly.
• 🎁 Exclusive Ffeatures: Many updates, like advanced chat settings and experimental models, launch on the web first.

• Cleaner Message Alignment: All user messages now align consistently to the left, making conversations look more polished and easier to scan.
• Smoother Message Actions: When you want to remove or clone a message, the entire chat bubble is now clickable instead of just a small section, making the process much simpler.
• Consistent Chat Alignment Across Platforms: The chat alignment behaviour is now unified between Web and Native, so it feels the same no matter where you’re chatting.

• Fixed an issue where the Province/State field in checkout wouldn’t always save correctly.
• Fixed a problem where errors weren’t showing up properly if you added more than 12 tags while creating a chatbot.
