🎙️ Text-to-Speech V3 is Here — Create Your Own Voices

We’re excited to roll out the next phase of our Text-to-Speech experience — and this one’s a big step forward.

You can now create your own custom voices and even assign them to your characters.

✨ What’s New

  • Create Custom Voices
Upload your own voice samples and generate a unique voice that you can use across your chats.
  • Assign Voices to Your Characters
Set a voice (custom or predefined) for your chatbot — so anyone chatting with your bot will hear that assigned voice.

This opens up a whole new level of immersion and personalization for your characters.

🛠️ How to Use

  1. Go to Create → Voices
  2. Add name and description
  3. Upload your audio samples (MP3, under 30 seconds each)

    • You can upload multiple samples for better results
  4. Wait a few minutes for processing
  5. Go to My Creations and find your voice
  6. Once it shows “Ready for Preview”, listen and finalize the voice
  7. After finalizing, you can start using it in chats or assign it to your chatbot

⚠️ Important:
Voices must be finalized before they can be used.

📌 Availability

This feature is currently available for I’m All In users.

We’re really excited to see what you create with this — custom voices can completely change how your characters feel and interact.

As always, we’d love to hear your feedback 💜

Weekly Update — Improved Image Generation, Recommendations, And More

Improved Image Generation

Excited to let you know that we’ve released an updated version of the Qwen Conversation Image prompt generator.

When generating images in conversation, the underlying prompt should now be much more accurate, which should lead to more relevant and better-looking results.

It also now properly respects Prompt Prefix and Negative Keywords from Image Settings — something that wasn’t working reliably before.

Better Recommendations

On the discovery side, we’ve made a few improvements as well:

You’ll now continue to see Recommendations even when tags are applied, and they will respect the tags you’ve selected.

We’ve also increased the number of recommendations from 12 to 24, so you get more content to explore.

Group Chat Improvements

For Group Chat, a couple of UX improvements:

* The Add/Remove Members button is now easier to access and placed above the selected members list

* Added a Discard Changes confirmation when exiting group member selection with unsaved changes

That’s it for this week.

As always, feel free to share feedback — especially on the image generation improvements.

🔧 Weekly Update — Fixes, New Feature & Ongoing Work

Hey everyone,

Sharing a quick update on some of the recent fixes and improvements, along with a few things we’re still actively working on.

We’ve made a small but important change to moderation — if your chatbot is in a “Fix Required” state, you won’t be able to chat with it until the required changes are made. This helps ensure bots meet the guidelines before being used again.

We’ve also added a new feature based on your feedback:

Disable Memory

You can now disable automatic memory generation in chats. This means the system won’t add new memories on its own, but any manually added or pinned entries will still be used.

This is useful if you want full control over the narrative and what information is carried forward. That said, for regular use, we don’t recommend disabling it, as it may make conversations feel less coherent.

🐞 Fixes

A number of issues have been addressed to improve day-to-day usage:

  • Fixed an issue where reporting a chatbot would sometimes show a translation key instead of a proper success message.
  • Fixed an issue where editing and saving a chatbot could still trigger an “unsaved changes” popup.
  • Fixed an issue where long memory entries would overflow outside the UI container.
  • Fixed an issue where the edit text area wouldn’t scroll properly for longer messages on web.
  • Fixed an issue where the favorite button would keep loading infinitely for users who weren’t logged in.
  • Fixed an issue where starting a new chat could sometimes carry over messages from a previous conversation.

⚠️ Ongoing Work

We’re aware some users are facing issues with avatar uploads, especially false “real person” moderation flags. We’re actively improving the models to reduce these false positives.

We’re also working on improving GIF uploads — currently files under 5MB should work, and we’re aiming to restore the 10MB limit soon.

That’s it for now — more improvements coming soon.

As always, really appreciate the feedback you’ve been sharing. It helps us move faster and fix things properly. 💜

🌍 SpicyChat Goes Multilingual

We’re excited to share that SpicyChat is now available in multiple languages.

You can now explore the platform in your preferred language, making it easier to navigate, create, and use SpicyChat in a way that feels natural to you.

You’ll see a new 🌐 language icon in the interface that lets you switch between:

English, French, Arabic, German, Spanish, Hindi, Korean, Portuguese, and Russian

This is just the first step in making SpicyChat more accessible to users around the world.

💬 Feedback & Improvements

Most translations were done with the help of AI and refined with input from our beta testers. Some parts may still need improvement — and that’s where you come in.

If you notice anything that feels off, please share your feedback in the Discord channels below:

Feedback Portuguese

Feedback Russian

Feedback German

Feedback Korean

Feedback French

Feedback Arabic

Feedback Spanish

Feedback Hindi

Your feedback will help us improve translations quickly.

📝 Important Notes

  • This does not change the chat language — you can set your preferred chat language in Profile Settings
  • This update translates the platform interface and dynamic content, but bot descriptions are not translated

📱 This update is live on both web and native apps

✨ Bonus Update

We’ve also relaunched the “Definition by Size” filter on the homepage, making it easier to discover characters based on your preferences.

We’re really excited about this step and what it means for the community.
Looking forward to hearing your feedback 💜

Quick Update On What We've Been Working On!

 Hello everyone 👋

It’s been a little while since we shared a proper community update, and a few of you have been asking what’s going on behind the scenes. I wanted to check in and share a bit about what we’ve been working on.

The short version: a lot is happening, and several things are getting very close to being ready. 🚀

🌍 Multi-Language Support

One of the biggest things we’re working on right now is multi-language support for SpicyChat. The goal is to make the platform accessible in different local languages so more people can comfortably explore the platform in their native language.

This feature is almost ready and should go to beta testers sometime next week.

📚 Import Lorebooks

Many of you asked for the ability to import lorebooks from other platforms or files you already have saved. We’re building that now so creators can bring their existing worlds into SpicyChat more easily.

This feature is almost ready and will be released soon.

👩‍🎨 Creator Controls for Group Chats

Based on creator feedback after the release of public group chats, we’re adding more creator control:

• Option for creators to opt out of public group chats
• Creator credit displayed when chatbots appear in group chats
• Creator usernames shown under each chatbot inside groups

📖 Public Lorebooks

Public Lorebooks are also actively in development. Right now lorebooks are private, but we know many of you want to share and explore worlds built by other creators.

We’re aiming to release Public Lorebooks in the next few months.

🎙️ Text-to-Speech Improvements

Text-to-Speech is getting an upgrade, including the ability to create custom voices for characters.

🖼️ Better Image Generation

We’re also improving conversation image generation to make images fit more naturally into roleplays and produce more immersive results.

🔧 Ongoing Improvements

Alongside these features, we’re constantly working on:

• Bug fixes
• Stability improvements
• UI polish
• General quality-of-life improvements

These are just some of the things currently in progress and planned to roll out over the coming weeks and months.

📍 Follow the Public Roadmap

If you’re curious about what’s being worked on, you can also keep an eye on the public roadmap channel on Discord.

As always, thank you for the feedback, ideas, and patience. The community has played a huge role in shaping what SpicyChat is becoming, and we’re excited about what’s coming next.

More soon. 💜

🧠 Understanding Tokens & Context Memory (New Documentation Update)

We’ve updated our documentation to better explain something many of you ask about:

What are tokens? What is context memory? And why don’t characters always remember everything in very long chats?

If you’ve ever noticed:

  • Details being forgotten in long conversations
  • Older messages no longer influencing replies
  • Repetition starting after hundreds (or thousands) of messages

This is directly related to how tokens and context windows work in AI models.

All models operate within a limited context window. That means they can only “see” a certain amount of recent conversation at a time. Once that limit is reached, older messages gradually fall out of context. This isn’t a bug — it’s how large language models function.

We’ve now published a clearer breakdown covering:

  • What tokens actually are (in simple terms)
  • How context memory works
  • Why memory limitations exist
  • Why repetition can happen in very long chats
  • Practical tips to improve long-form roleplay quality

If you want to better understand how to get the most out of your chats — especially long roleplays — we highly recommend reading it:

The more you understand how the system works, the better your results will be.

As always, if you have questions, feel free to reach out.

Our #SpicyValentine contest is officially live, and this one’s all about creating Valentine’s-themed chatbots that people can’t stop chatting with. Sweet, seductive, dramatic, wholesome, yandere… it’s all fair game as long as it fits the theme.

Here’s how it works:

  • Create a new Valentine’s-themed chatbot
  • Set it to Public and include #SpicyValentine in the title
  • Submit the chatbot using the official form
  • Extra actions = extra entries, so the more you participate, the better your chances

🏆 Prizes

  • 5 winners picked by our team for creativity and quality
  • 5 winners drawn at random from all valid entries

✨ New Web Updates: Smarter Avatars & a Cleaner Chat Experience

We’ve rolled out a couple of exciting improvements on the web that give you more control, better flow, and a smoother creative experience.

🎨 Improved Avatar Generation

We’ve revamped the Avatar Generator with new models and tools to help you fine-tune your characters more easily.

What’s new:

  • New powerful image models: Z-Image, Flux2 Klein, and Qwen Image
  • AI-assisted image editing – make refinements after generating an image to get exactly what you want (like fixing deformities or removing unwanted elements)
  • Image cropping to better fit avatars on chatbot cards
  • Style picker for easier style selection from a list of predefined styles
  • Larger editing playground on desktop
  • Improved full-screen image viewer

A couple of important notes:

  • These new models work best with detailed, prose-style descriptions. If you don’t describe a background or setting, the image may generate without one.
  • NSFW support is limited for AI-assisted image editing. Editing requests involving NSFW body changes may not work as expected.

💬 Cleaner, More Focused Chat Input

We’ve also reworked the chat input to make conversations feel more fluid and less cluttered.

What’s changed:

  • The text input is now focused purely on typing and all secondary actions (voice, image upload, suggest reply, commands, web search) have been moved into a new “+” action menu
  • Opening or closing the menu won’t affect your typed text
  • Actions only trigger when you explicitly tap them — no more accidental interruptions
  • Images can now be dragged and dropped directly into chat
  • Image-only messages are supported
  • You can remove an attached image with a confirmation prompt
  • When using commands (like OOC or Search), the input clearly switches into a command mode, making it visually distinct from normal messages

The goal here is simple: less friction, fewer mistakes, and a smoother writing flow.

📌 Availability
These updates are currently web-only and not yet available in native apps.

As always, thank you for the feedback that helped shape these improvements. We’re excited to see what you create with them  💜

✨ Celebrating Top Creators Of 2025

Hey everyone,

If there’s one thing that truly defines SpicyChat, it’s our creators.

Every conversation, every universe, every unforgettable character you’ve connected with this year exists because someone took the time to imagine it, shape it, and share it. Creators aren’t just part of SpicyChat — they are SpicyChat.

Today, we want to take a moment to celebrate that.

As we close out 2025, we wanted to take a moment to highlight 10 creators whose characters truly stood out this year — characters that were widely loved, deeply engaged with, and kept conversations going day after day.

🏆 Our Top 10 Creators of 2025

  1. @lowpoly
  2. @scarlett_bloodfallen
  3. @linmcl
  4. @Stromxxx
  5. @yukischi
  6. @ixalon
  7. @hakujivn
  8. @poottl
  9. @anayaleonard
  10. @uland

Each of these creators will receive one full year of “I’m All In” — on us — as a small thank-you for the worlds they’ve built and the impact they’ve had.

You can check out the monthly top creators here:

December Leaderboard

But this isn’t just about a few names.

This is about recognizing every creator who has ever shared a bot, refined a character, helped another creator, or pushed SpicyChat forward through their creativity. Whether you’re a veteran creator or someone who just published their first character — you matter here.

Looking ahead, 2026 is going to be a creator-first year.

We’re actively planning and working on features and tools designed to support and spotlight creators even more — things like enhanced creator profiles, better visibility, creator metrics, and new ways for users to discover and follow the creators they love. On top of that, we’re planning more creator-focused events and contests, giving you more opportunities to shine, experiment, and be rewarded for your work.

SpicyChat wouldn’t exist without you — and everything we’re building next is with you in mind.

Thank you for all the wonderful stories you've shared. We can’t wait to see what you create next.

Here’s to our creators — and to an even bigger 2026. 💜
